Purpose of the role
To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.
Accountabilities
- Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
- Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
- Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.

To be successful as a Senior Engineer VP - Digital Assets, you should:
Bring proven experience designing and building tokenized deposits, bonds, repos, stablecoins, and related digital asset systems in a regulated financial institution
Have practical expertise across L1s/L2s, smart contracts, cryptographic services, and interoperability frameworks
Demonstrate a good understanding of token standards, and on-chain settlement concepts, and apply this knowledge to enterprise Digital Asset design in a regulated environment
Be comfortable owning technical solutions end-to-end, from design and development through testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
Apply DevSecOps discipline, including CI/CD, secrets management, cloud security, and automated testing
Be confident using AI-enabled engineering and productivity tooling to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, enhance decision-making and mitigate technology and operational risk
Other highly valued skills include:
Knowledge of payments systems, instant payments, cross-border flows, and digital asset-enabled settlement
Understanding of capital markets workflows, including issuance, trading, DvP/PvP, lifecycle events, and corporate actions
Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes/containers, API gateways, Kafka, and enterprise messaging
Considerable grounding in distributed systems patterns, secure engineering, and modern software design principles
Ability to work effectively across engineering, architecture, product, risk, compliance, and operations teams

Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
