Duties:
Design and develop high performance test solutions on products for first silicon verification, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of precision digital and mixed signal products for Automotive customers. Design, develop, and debug multi-site, cost effective test hardware/software solutions for characterization, qualification, and production wafer probe and final test. Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and high-volume manufacturing. Define test schematics and work with lay-out engineers to design printed circuit board multi-site test hardware. Debug test programs, correlate production test solutions to engineering bench measurements, and transfer production test solutions to manufacturing sites. Engage and support manufacturing to maintain production yield and quality, improve test cost, and resolve product and test problems after production release. Participate in new product development teams and evaluate new test systems for future applications. Work with the Design and Systems/Applications engineering teams to develop and implement a Design for Test plan, and translate tests from the Design Verification simulation environment to the Automatic Test Equipment test platform. Manage and maintain project schedules that align with product introduction and release.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Product and Test Engineer or related occupation developing Automotive product test solutions for analog or mixed signal integrated circuits.
Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section):
- Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) programming with C/C++ and scripting languages on Linux systems for analog/digital devices and products;
- DE designing and debugging custom printed circuit board hardware for interface to Advantest V93000 Automated Test Equipment (ATE);
- DE developing software on Advantest V93000 ATE platform for testing state-of-the-art ICs for Automotive customers;
- DE developing functional and electrical tests for new products, including developing and simulating Verilog test cases and translating to Advantest V93000 ATE for integrated circuit debugging, characterization, and manufacturing tests;
- DE using Exensio and SAS JMP statistical analysis tools to analyze characterization and production data, generate reports for product yield monitoring, and identify cost and quality improvement opportunities;
- DE performing ATE and bench debugging of Automotive customer returns to meet automotive quality requirements; and
- Demonstrated knowledge with circuit design, silicon processing, and electronic reliability.
