ADI’s Wearable and Prosumer Solutions Business Unit is looking for a Senior engineer in test product development at our Bangalore location. The candidate will become an integral part of the Product & Test Engineering (PTE) activities for the development of mixed signal audio edge processors and battery management power products. The candidate will also be part of pre & post-silicon phase of the silicon development from DFT to silicon bring up / characterization to high volume production. The ideal candidate will be technically strong and will have demonstrated experience in testing both Digital and Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Products, working with cross functional teams like Design, Bench Eval, PD, etc., with ability to collaborate with ADI global teams and offshore subcons. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design of innovative, reliable, and efficient Probe and Test solutions with highly parallel multi-site test capability using mixed signal/Digital ATE platforms (primarily ultra-flex and 93K)
  • Development of the ATE software solutions as per the specifications.
  • Play a role in DFT/BIST definition & development, through direct involvement with the Design Team early in the New Product Development, to reduce FFC and improve testability.
  • Execution of the Test development phases of the projects including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Yield Analysis, Correlation & Offshore Production release.

Qualifications:

  • Have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Have 5-7years’ of hands-on experience in mixed signal or digital tests.
  • Have knowledge of the ATE software development and working knowledge of Teradyne Flex and/or 93K ATE systems.
  • Have good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of Perl/C++ programming.
  • Be experienced in ATE highly parallel multi-site test digital h/w design & layout, with lead skills in understanding the problems/limitations in hardware development.
  • Be experienced in releasing multi-site test programs to offshore production test houses.
  • Be well versed with the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI-meter, Signal generator and analyzers.
  • Be capable of working with the reliability engineers on the product qual
  • Be proactive and work under own supervision.
  • Be self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills.
