Position Overview

Join the Battery Insights team to help turn electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) into production-ready, actionable insights. This role focuses on developing and validating electrochemical signals that enable real-time algorithms in battery systems across operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute EIS-based battery experiments

- Interpret impedance data to define algorithm-relevant features

- Collaborate cross-functionally with algorithms, systems, and applications teams

- Develop documentation and SOPs for reproducible testing and analysis

- Support lab setup, debugging, and validation of results

Required Qualifications

- Experience with battery electrochemistry and testing workflows

- Experience with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)

- Strong data analysis skills

- Ability to work independently in a product development environment

Preferred Qualifications

- MS or PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

- Experience translating electrochemistry into algorithm features

- Python or Matlab experience for analysis

- Experience understanding and mitigating EIS measurement artifacts

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $110,385 to $151,808.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
