1. Ownership of new product development projects from concept to production
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define product assembly requirement, specification, costing, yield, manufacturability and handshake to production team
3. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new product concepts
4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any product defects and failures
5. Prepare detailed engineering report and ensure process documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
6. Establish new function on substrate technology and as subject matter expert, including understand vendor capability/ design rules, substrate supplier selection, provide technical support and expertise regarding substrate related issue
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or a related field
2. At least 3 years semiconductor working experience related to assembly process, new product development, particularly with substrate/PCB materials
3. Knowledge of substrate/ PCB materials, properties, and manufacturing process will be added advantages
4. Effective communication and project management skills
5. Analitical, excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
