Now, We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Java Engineer to join our team at Dubai Silicon Oasis, where you'll lead the way in designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java-based applications to support the bank's digital banking initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the bank's business requirements and technology standards.
Job DescriptionWhat you will do:
• Technically Lead the development of web-based applications using Java, Microservices, and related technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of developers, offering guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure high-quality, performance, and security standards in all applications.
• Integrate with third-party systems and services.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Java and JEE development.
• Implement and manage event streaming solutions using Kafka and related technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience developing application.
- At least 9 years of experience in Java, Spring boot, micro services, Kafka, JEE development with high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
- Design and development experience of SpringBoot, JPA, AWS and RESTful Web Services with one or more of below technologies
- Working knowledge of database, SQL
- Any e2e testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Wiremock, Karate or developers delivering high-quality work.
