About the Role
Ensure first-time quality and reduction of cost of quality; Implement and guide project team to follow Harman BMS process and compliance with ASPICE requirements in project.
Your Team
Directly report to Director, Development Quality
What You Will Do
- Support local OEMs with respect to Development Quality Activities
- Create and maintain project SW quality plan.
- Perform quality activities throughout SW development lifecycle base on SW quality plan.
- Conduct work product review and provide vote at SW maturity gate reviews.
- Perform process compliance checks and track non-compliance to be closure.
- Conduct SW release readiness review (RRR).
- Deliver project quality reports.
- Identify quality issues and risk. Support team to resolve quality issue to ensure key product delivery completed on time per the project schedule and meet excellent quality standards.
- Set up lesson learn database, handover pervious project lesson learns to new project, prevent the reoccurrence of problems, and collect lesson learn for new program.
- Independent and transparent auditing, reporting and escalation on quality status of the projects to higher management and identified stakeholders.
- Participate in internal audit &certification activities for IATF16949, Automotive SPICE etc.
- Coach and support team to create project process strategy base on HARMAN BMS standards and approval of tailoring of the HAMAN BMS standards based on customer quality requirements.
What You Need
Basic Qualifications:.
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar
- >3 years in direct managerial/supervisor role
- >5 years of experience in responsible position in SW projects, preferably in an global environment
- QA Knowledge (ISO/TS, ASPICE)
- Functional Safety knowledge (ISO 26262, IATF 16949)
- Customer focus
- Able to work independently in a structured way
- Good social skills and confidence
- Excellent written and verbal in English
Preferred Qualifications: Please list the preferred qualifications needed for this position based on the following:
- Proficient in use of software development lifecycle tools, including DOORS, IBM-ALM, etc.
- Experience with development tools for static analysis, unit testing code reviews, code coverage is highly recommended
- Certification in ASPICE or CMMi
- Knowledge of ASIL levels and requirements in SW planning for FuSa.
- Effective Problem Solving Skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- 10% Willingness to travel.
- 90% Willingness to work in an office.
- Successfully complete a background investigation/Aptitude Test as a condition of employment.
