Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of bridge and transportation structural design projects
- Manage projects from concept through detailed design to construction and handover
- Undertake and oversee bridge and structural design and detailing in line with relevant standards
- Carry out and review structural analysis and design calculations
- Manage and undertake independent design checks, including Category checks
- Plan, programme, and manage project delivery, resources, and budgets
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to junior engineers
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance across all deliverables
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Eng/M.Eng) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Bridge Design Engineer, covering all project phases from concept development through to project handover
- Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within highways, roads, or rail sectors
