ABOUT THE CLIENT
Expertise spans oil and gas production, separation and integration, offshore petroleum refining, LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), petrochemicals and gas chemicals, LNG/LPG receiving terminals, fossil fuel and nuclear power generation, renewable energy, non-ferrous metal refining, environmental conservation, life sciences and healthcare, as well as airport infrastructure.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to join our team in the Basic Engineering phase for FLNG (Floating Liquefied Natural Gas) and FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) Hulls. This position requires deep technical expertise in offshore and naval engineering, focusing on the initial design and analysis crucial for floating production systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop metocean design criteria based on regional environmental data and classification society standards.
- Execute detailed heading analysis using statistical and deterministic methods to optimize vessel orientation for operational efficiency.
- Conduct motion and acceleration analysis using time-domain and frequency-domain simulations to assess vessel operability, structural integrity, and equipment performance.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years of experience in offshore and naval engineering.
- Proven involvement in Conceptual Design, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design), and Detailed Engineering phases for floating production systems and subsea infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of classification society requirements and regional environmental data.
- Ability to lead technical studies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
