Partner with the best

You will be collaborating with the Acoustic team within the Baker Hughes GT Systems Integration organization. You will start from project or program requirement, develop acoustic models, and perform acoustic analyses, preparing the report and communicating noise requirements to the team and Customer.

As a Senior Engineer - Acoustic Engineering, you will be responsible for:

  • Carry out acoustic analyses conforming to standards, design practices, procedures, regulations and product/program requirements.
  • Cooperate with project team members and collect information about the main parameters for the design of the system.
  • Elaborate models for different train compositions (i.e. Reynoise, Ansys, customized tools).
  • Develop the analysis report and documentation in accordance with the project schedule.
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
  • Document, report, and review results within team and with chief/principal engineers.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations to improve design capabilities.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering.
  • Experience in Acoustics and airborne noise evaluations
  • Experience in an Engineering position.
  • Eu work permit.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with design and analysis tools and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out technical projects and drive them to completion to achieve timely results.
  • Ability to understand customer/program requirements and draft plans to meet them.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
