This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineering professional with strong project management experience who is ready to make a meaningful impact in a distinctive community. The Senior Engineer will help lead and manage a variety of engineering and infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and completion in support of the Town's mission to provide outstanding public services to a community that values limited government.

We’re looking for someone who can bring technical expertise, project management leadership, and collaborative problem-solving to projects that shape the Town’s infrastructure and enhance the community's heritage.

In return, the Town proudly offers:

  • 3% employee salary increase effective 01/01/2027 (new salary range $110,610 - $147,480).

Comprehensive Benefits Package (subject to specific provisions) that includes:

THE REQUIREMENTS

To become our Senior Engineer, the Town requires:

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in design and construction, including 5 years of experience in project management.
  • A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
  • A valid class D Arizona driver’s license.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Arizona or the ability to obtain the local state license within 6 months of hire.
