The embedded SW Engineer in our team focuses on the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-quality software solutions for 5G microwave backhauling, integrating advanced technologies such as O-RAN and vRAN. As part of Nokia’s Microwave Business Unit, we work across multiple disciplines to transform system-level requirements into functional software components—ranging from high-level management layers to low-level firmware—while adhering to rigorous systems engineering and software configuration management practices. Our collaborative and skilled R&D team plays a critical role in shaping innovative, reliable, and future-ready network solutions within Nokia’s broader Mobile Networks Business Group.
As part of our SW Team, you will:
- You will participate in planning and contribute to the design and specification of our next-generation network equipment, integrating various SW/FW components from management interfaces (NETCONF, SNMP, etc.) to the board support package (BSP, including HW device drivers).
- You will contribute to the implementation of our SW solution on this device, working as a SW development engineer within a team.
- You will be translating customer requirements into SW requirements and use cases that brings our product on the market.
- You will also be supporting integration test activities with the objective to improve overall sw quality.
- You will be part of a scrum cross functional team following Agile methodology.
