Occasional bending and reaching in an office environment, including opening and closing file cabinets drawers with light grasping. Type on a standard keyboard (laptop or desktop). Sit or stand in a standard upright position for a minimum of one hour, but up to 12 hours a day. Be able to lift and carry weight unassisted not exceeding 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team of hands-on engineers and participate in embedded firmware development, design, review, and testing for new video system design (hardware, software, firmware), development, troubleshooting, verification, and documentation.
- Modify firmware for improved product performance and the addition of new features.
- Document firmware designs and code with specifications and source comments and create end user documentation.
- Contribute to the design of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for video, control, and power systems.
- Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
- Execute design verification and validation testing, including board bring-up, stress testing, and environmental qualification.
- Collaborate with Production, Marketing, and Sales for product requirements, releases, supports, and testing.
- Assist and participate in firmware development, design and review for new products and prototypes.
- Modify firmware for improved product performance and the addition of new features.
- Document firmware designs and code with specifications and source comments, and create end user documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
- Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Participate in internal review of software components and systems.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Over 5 years of hand-on experience with embedded system design as well as firmware and software development.
- Proficiency in C.
- Experience with developing firmware for Arm Cortex M/ STM32 Micro-controllers.
- Experience with peripheral communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, PWM).
- Applied scripting techniques (shell scripting, Perl, Python) to improve efficiency.
- Knowledge of hardware schematic.
- Experience with FPGA, Verilog is preferable.

- Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Skills Required
