- Development of complex state machines to ensure the functionality of the HV battery
- Development of complex drivers and modules for wired or wireless real time data transfer
- Management of crypto modules and secure communication
- Bootloader development
- complex analog & digital signal processing and data transfer (CAN, LIN, SPI, ethernet, I2C)
- Integrate the software on OS level and ensure its real time capability in multiple different frameworks (bare metal, vector/Autosar, micrium OS, PXROS)
- Work on the low-level drivers that controls the microcontroller and its peripherals
- Ensure & improve the functionality of the battery management algorithms on system level
- Ensure the software development follows the necessary automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO26262)
- Design the software architecture regarding integration, validation and mass production
- Develop and Improve CI /CD tool chain and integrate SW development , quality check , work product generation and testing processes into the tool chain. Integrate the software in our CI/CD tool landscape
- Cover all requirements with necessary testcases
- Bring-up the different customer batteries and vehicles
What you bring with you
- Successfully completed university degree in an engineering field
- Ideally more than 3 years of working experience in software engineering (in C/C++)
- Knowledge in the field of microcontrollers and applicable tools
- Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of a project
- Creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles
- Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English; German favorable)
- Able to be onsite in our offices at least 2-3x a week
