How you will make an impact
The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for:
- Acting as the technical leader responsible for the Yocto-based Linux platform architecture, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability across embedded products.
- Leading, owning, and evolving the embedded Linux platform architecture.
- Driving BSP integration, board bring-up activities, kernel strategy, kernel configuration management, device tree architecture / deployment, and bootloader design.
- Optimizing performance, boot time, footprint, and overall reliability, and platform security.
- Act as the technical interface to silicon vendors and partners.
What you need to succeed:
Must Have:
- Minimum 8 years of Embedded Linux experience
- Extensive embedded Linux experience, includig Yocto
- Linux kernel, U‑Boot, Device Tree
- Proven experience with board bring‑up, kernel configuration, and device tree development/deployment
- Strong knowledge of Linux kernel security features, system hardening, and security platform design.
- Experience debugging kernel panics, driver related issues, and low-level system problems.
- C/C++, shell scripting, system performance optimization
- Platform debugging, root cause analysis, and technical leadership
Nice to Have:
- Multi‑product or multi‑SoC platform ownership
- Security hardening and update strategies
- Contributions to open‑source or Yocto/AOSP projects
- Experience in automotive, industrial, or safety‑critical systems
