Summary
GameStop is seeking a Senior Email Marketing & CRM Specialist to lead our consumer-centric email and CRM strategies, driving revenue growth, customer loyalty, and brand advocacy. This role requires expertise in email journey planning, membership retention optimization, and template design, as well as a strong focus on email hygiene and best practices. You will work closely with the loyalty product team and cross-functional partners to create and execute impactful email campaigns that elevate the GameStop brand.

This position will sit onsite 5 days per week in Grapevine, Tx.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Iterable Cross-Channel Marketing Platform and email marketing best practices. Maintain a detailed campaign calendar, manage content requests, and apply A/B and multivariate testing to achieve continuous performance improvements.
  • Drive the advancement, enhancement, and optimization of the email channel to deliver engaging, high-performing campaigns aligned with key business objectives.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing and creative teams to develop, execute, and refine email content for maximum impact.
  • Load provided creative and copy into email templates within Iterable.
  • Setup, schedule, and launch campaigns/journeys/ triggers to make sure emails are delivered on time and to the right audience.
  • Refine send time practice & audience segmentation to maximize ROI through the email program.
  • Manage the proofing process to drive accuracy and visibility to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze email performance metrics to identify insights and recommend new initiatives that elevate the customer experience and contribute to business growth.
  • Coordinate project workflows, including team briefings, internal reviews, and cross-functional meetings, ensuring that all content adheres to business rules and requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in email marketing for retail or e-commerce, with expertise in Iterable Cross-Channel Marketing Platform (or equivalent CRM platforms like ExactTarget, Klavio, etc).
  • Previous experience building triggers and journeys to drive always-on email campaigns and notifications such as Abandon Cart, Post Purchase and Welcome Series campaigns.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data, design and evaluate experiments (including A/B testing), set performance goals, and report on results.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality email QA and flawless campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end while meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Light design experience a plus (Canva and/or equivalent design tools)
  • Creative thinker with a willingness to challenge the status quo and develop innovative strategies and playbooks.
  • Commitment to upholding GameStop’s policies and procedures, including confidentiality, ethical standards, and operational guidelines.
