Introduction to the job

ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market, and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

  • Perform in-depth analysis of test results, identify systemic issues, and propose long-term solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for test processes and infrastructure.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for hardware validation and automation.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and influence test architecture decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all testing activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an integrator and/or test engineer for electronic/electrical functions.
  • Experience with FPGA development, hardware testing, and automation.
  • Experience with automated test frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred:

  • Proven track record of leading test development projects and mentoring teams.

Skills

  • Proficient in FPGA architecture, digital electronics, and hardware validation.

  • Deep Expertise in scripting languages (Python, TCL, or similar) for automation.

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators).

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software integration issues.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge of cabling, connectivity, and electronic safety.

  • Proficient with version control systems (Git)

  • Familiar with Linux environments.

  • Exposure to CI/CD integration for test automation.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR) and signal integrity analysis.
  • Exposure to embedded systems, firmware development, and system-level testing.
