Job Summary: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead the design of innovative electrical systems for complex healthcare, life sciences, and commercial projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that improve the built environment. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, mentor emerging engineers, build lasting client relationships, and contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative, people-first culture that values professional growth, flexibility, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software
  • Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls
  • Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies
  • Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems
  • Design of lighting systems
  • Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates
  • Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks
  • Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)
  • Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff
  • Promotes positive attitude and image
  • Possesses excellent motivational skills
  • Shows fairness and consistency; is decisive
  • Shows good judgement and reasoning ability
  • Takes initiative to set goals and works purposefully to achieve them

Location: Lakewood, CO

Travel: Up to 5%

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
