About the Position | Major goals and objectives and location requirements
The Beauty, Style, and Entertainment group at Dotdash Meredith is seeking a full-time Senior Editor for Brides. We are looking for a digital-savvy candidate with experience writing and editing fashion, beauty, and general women’s lifestyle content. While previous wedding-specific experience is not required (but considered a major plus!), an interest in the content category is essential.
In this role, you will report to the Associate Editorial Director of Brides and work closely with our Senior Editorial Director, Editor, Associate Editor, and social media team. You will be responsible for creating and/or editing two to three stories per day, will work with a roster of freelance writers, and will manage a portion of the editorial content budget as well as own at least one tentpole project each year. You’ll work closely with the editorial team and our growth partners to update existing content using SEO best practices, assign, edit, and/or write new content, and contribute to big-picture projects. You may also assist with writing and/or editing celebrity news content as well as ad hoc editorial duties. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and a can-do attitude is a must.
