What You’ll Do
Technical Support
- Preparation of 3D models using Civil 3D software.
- Design layout of roads, culverts, pipe benches and grading plans.
- Bill of materials generation, including cut and fill calculations.
- Preparation of design drawings relating to earthworks design.
- Produce accurate and high-quality design drawings in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Participate in internal and client-facing 30/60/90 model reviews, if required.
- Regular meetings with the Civil Structural Design Lead to ensure all project requirements are being met.
- Effectively communicate the status of tasks and design changes to the team.
- Support and provide guidance to junior design and drafting personnel as required.
- Develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to company quality standards, drafting procedures, and document control practices.
- Maintain organized electronic file structures and project documentation.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Technical Exposure
- Contribute to civil and earthworks design for oil and gas processing facilities, heavy oil, carbon capture, and emerging energy projects.
- Gain exposure to multidisciplinary EPCM project environments from concept development through detailed engineering.
- Maintain proficiency with evolving Civil 3D tools, technologies, and design best practices.
About You
- Engineering Design and Drafting Diploma or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma
- 5+ years’ of EPCM experience.
- Registered member of ASET.
