Job DescriptionJob Purpose
To prepare, review, and maintain engineering drawings for road maintenance and infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with client requirements, applicable standards, and project specifications.
Principal Accountability & Responsibility
- Prepare and update Drawings, for all assets, management drawings, road maintenance drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all drawings comply with Ashghal requirements, QCS, and relevant standards.
- Incorporate review comments and maintain drawing registers and document control records.
- Support permit applications, utility coordination, and technical submissions.
Education and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of drafting experience in roads and infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Road Operations & Maintenance projects.
- Experience with Ashghal projects and TDP preparation is preferred.
Key Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage.
- Qatar Geoportal, using Google Earth and KMZ files and GIS is an advantage
- Strong understanding of road geometry, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Knowledge of Ashghal standards, QHDM, and TDP requirements is an advantage
- Good coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
