DLP Platform:
Endpoint DLP: Managing agents, troubleshooting issues with browsers/apps, and fine-tuning performance.
Network/Web DLP: Understanding ICAP integration, SMTP mail flow, and SSL inspection.
Infrastructure:
Windows/Linux Administration: Ability to check kernel logs, manage services, and monitor resource utilization ($CPU$, $RAM$, $I/O$).
Database Basics: Basic SQL queries to check the health of the DLP backend (Enforce/Manager database).
Networking: Understanding TCP/IP, proxy configurations, and firewall ports required for DLP communication.
Operational Skills:
Regex (Regular Expressions): Writing custom patterns to identify sensitive data (e.g., specific bank account formats).
Log Analysis: Using tools like Wireshark or built-in DLP logs to troubleshoot why a file wasn't blocked or why an agent is offline.
Requirements
- DLP-Specific Experience (2+ Years): Direct experience in deploying agents, managing policies, and handling version upgrades (e.g., migrating from v15.x to v16.x).
- Banking/FSI Background: Experience working in a "Bank environment" is a additional benefit.
- Troubleshooting History: Proven ability to resolve "Agent Tampering" or "System Crash" scenarios without needing to escalate every ticket to the vendor.
- Documentation: Experience in creating High-Level Design (HLD) or Low-Level Design (LLD) documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
