Division Operations is responsible for a combination of portions of Anduril’s COO + CFO organizations that help run the business of Connected Warfare. This trusted team of individual contributors partner directly with division leadership to represent, enable, and advance the organization’s priorities.
ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role you will understand and navigate complex data and infrastructure to develop and drive strategic projects that help steer our executive leaders. Reporting directly to the Head of Division Operations, you’ll operate as a trusted owner and partner at the center of strategy, execution, and communications. In this individual contributor role, you’ll be relentless in thinking critically, analyzing and evaluating inputs, and pushing for clarity--to solve problems and close complex projects on tight timelines and with discretion.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity and will be able to tackle a variety of projects. Some key areas of ownership for this role include:
- Special Projects - Take on special projects for Connected Warfare and in direct support to the SVP and Head of Division Operations
- Dive into multiple simultaneous ambiguous projects across the org and own their end-to-end execution, from initial discovery to successful delivery.
- Bootstrap new capabilities and lead cross-functional projects - you’re not just project managing, you’re driving toward the outcome.
- Drive clarity across cross-functional initiatives by documenting and following up on actions, decisions, and milestones.
- Conduct research and compile data as needed to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- VIP Events - Support complex and/or VIP events, customer engagements, and trade-shows
- Serve as a liaison between the division and Anduril's teams and customers to coordinate cross-functional engagements and communications.
- Translate leadership intent into well coordinated plans, align team-members around priorities and content through planning meetings and pre-reads.
- Partner with Admin Team to ensure EAs execute tactical plans into well scheduled events.
- Prepare and edit communications, presentations, and other documents for executive engagements.
- Exec Support - Provide comprehensive support to Connected Warfare's Senior Vice President
- Help leadership stay focused on what matters; triage new inputs and asks, prioritize efforts, track follow-ups.
- Provide in-person support and coordination for complex engagements across the globe.
- Synthesize multiple inputs into crisp and accurate artifacts for internal and external decision making.
- Drive decisions to help Admins manage calendars and travel to enable a smooth and efficient use of time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of working experience in a consulting, program management, or business operations role.
- Willing and able to work in Anduril’s Seattle, WA office
- Willing to travel for up to 25% of time
- Strong communication skills across a dynamic range of mediums, both written and verbal. Experience interfacing with company leadership and executives is a must
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust and facilitate meetings for executives. Capacity to translate and articulate thoughts clearly and simply across a wide range of roles (software engineers, finance partners, recruiters, cross functional leadership, and executives).
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to solve operational problems not only from a data driven lens, but also in a people-centric way by building strong cross functional relationships across the company and within the Connected Warfare division.
- High ownership with the horsepower to effectively manage multiple (3-5+) large projects and priorities in parallel, at a rapid pace, and report out on progress regularly.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working at or with Aerospace & Defense companies, Robotics, Technology or other manufacturing heavy companies directly or in an advisory capacity
- Experience working at a start up or ability to establish processes and SOPs from scratch
