SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Technical Services provides regional leadership and drives consistent execution of technical services strategy across multiple markets. This role is responsible for translating organizational priorities into operational plans that improve performance, ensure regulatory readiness, and standardize best practices ensuring dialysis equipment, water systems, and facility infrastructure are safe, reliable, and compliant with all regulatory and company standards.

The Senior Director leads through regional technical leaders, focusing on performance optimization, cross-functional alignment, and scalable processes that enhance reliability, efficiency, and team effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

Operational Leadership & Execution

  • Lead day-to-day technical operations across assigned regions to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable clinic performance
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of dialysis equipment, water systems, and facility infrastructure
  • Analyze field data and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources, including labor, inventory, and vendor services
  • Support consistent execution of technical standards, policies, and procedures
  • Prioritize patient safety at all times

 

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to equipment uptime, cost, and service quality
  • Identify maintenance trends and implement strategies to reduce downtime and extend asset life
  • Drive process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Develop and implement quality and productivity measures

 

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure all clinics maintain compliance with company policy, manufacturer standards, AAMI guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate efforts to maintain state licensure and federal certification readiness
  • Partner with regional and corporate teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards

 

Technical Program Leadership

  • Provide direction and oversight to technical programs, including preventative maintenance and safety initiatives
  • Support development and implementation of technical policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Ensure a safe and compliant environment for patients and team members
  • Promote adherence to safety standards, including OSHA requirements

 

Partnerships & Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with clinical leaders, administrators, and corporate partners
  • Communicate performance, risks, and priorities effectively across stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional initiatives, including clinic openings, transitions, and operational improvements
  • Foster a culture of service excellence and responsiveness
  • Effectively collaborate with operations, construction team, clinical services, and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and appropriate physical plant

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop regional technical leaders and team members
  • Ensure team members meet qualifications and perform within scope of role and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development
  • Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for results
Preferred Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of 4+ years of technical leadership experience, including multi-site oversight
  • Prior experience as a Technical Director or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of dialysis equipment, water systems, and regulatory standards
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel frequently

  • Ability to perform physical activities as required in technical and facility environment.
Pay Range

$140,000 - $160,000
