The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $180,000 - $225,000

Job Summary:
Responsible for: (1) Operation of Substation and Test Department; (2) Operation of Meters; (3) Operation of the ECC; and (4) SCADA Application Support.
The position provides leadership and direction to achieve goals and implement change.
Responsibilities within the four areas mentioned above include safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, cost-effective resource allocation, staff selection and development, process improvement and oversight, major project management, and daily field operations activities.
Coordinates and participates in problem-resolution and emergency response with other functions and subject matter experts.
Ensures administrative matters such as payroll, budgets, performance reviews, safety, scheduling, and work management reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for the safe and efficient Operating Company emergency preparedness and restoration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for safety of the workforce including development of training programs and TMP progressions.
Responsible for regulatory strategy in each of the 4 areas listed above.
Oversee and evaluate work processes. Identifies and implements process improvements. Creates a climate of innovation in which ideas for process improvement are continually encouraged from within the organization.
Responsible for the safe and efficient Operating Company emergency preparedness and restoration efforts.
Develops and implements annual business plan for all areas mentioned above, including O&M and Capital budgets. Monitors ongoing progress and reallocates resources as necessary to ensure goal achievement (Safety, Reliability, and Customer Service).
Responsible for employee goals and objectives while ensuring alignment with department and corporate goals.
Reviews reports that document performance in meeting department, corporate, or regulatory goals and requirements.
Represents the company on various teams or committees regarding state, regional, or national issues. Acts as liaison for the Company with customers and with state and municipal agencies to coordinate efforts.

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum of 10 years of related field experience.
