As Senior Director of Statistical Programming, you’ll shape and drive the vision, strategy, and execution of programming across Relay’s clinical development programs. Leading a growing team and working cross-functionally, you'll ensure high-quality, regulatory-compliant deliverables that power critical decisions—from internal milestones to global submissions. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of science, data, and patient care.
What You’ll Do
Set strategic direction for statistical programming in alignment with clinical and regulatory objectives
Lead and grow a team of in-house and outsourced programmers; oversee planning, timelines, budgets, and resourcing
Own programming deliverables across all Relay-sponsored clinical studies
Guide vendor selection and management, including reviewing bids and change orders
Establish SOPs, programming standards, and process improvements that scale with the business
Ensure compliance with global regulatory and quality standards
Develop tools and systems that increase efficiency, consistency, and capacity across the team
Mentor, coach, and develop talent to build a high-performing, innovative programming group
What You Bring
Master’s degree in statistics, computer science, or a related field
20+ years of statistical programming experience (SAS), including 5+ years in leadership; oncology experience a plus
Deep knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM), regulatory expectations, and submission workflows
Demonstrated ability to lead global teams and complex projects in a matrixed environment
Experience with vendor oversight and budget management
Strong communicator, systems thinker, and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced, science-driven environment
