The Opportunity
As the Senior Director, PX Region Lead, you will serve as a strategic regional owner accountable for driving the delivery, performance, and scalable execution of Genentech’s patient support and navigation services across your assigned territory for the entire portfolio. What you can expect in this role at Genentech:
Oversee day-to-day operational performance, service quality, throughput, and cross-portfolio support for complex patient and provider access/reimbursement challenges.
Lead, coach, and develop a large, distributed regional team of Team Leads and Patient Navigators, setting performance expectations aligned to key patient outcomes and enterprise KPIs.
Ensure the regional PX team has deep expertise and understanding of their aligned local healthcare ecosystem.
Own the successful regional rollout and implementation of new product launches, patient support service programs, and technology enhancements.
Partner closely with regional Customer Engagement (CE) team and ecosystem stakeholders to address regional patient and provider barriers.
Cultivate and sponsor a community of practice across regionally aligned leaders to share operational best practices and ensure consistent execution across regions.
Leverage deep regional market insights, payer dynamics, and provider ecosystem knowledge to inform patient support interventions and enterprise strategy.
Drive change leadership and maintain a culture of psychological safety, resilience, and accountability to prevent burnout and ensure sustained impact.
Who you are
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare management, public policy) or equivalent experience (advanced degree preferred).
Bring 12-15 years of experience in healthcare, patient services, reimbursement, or related roles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare organizations.
Possess 5+ years of direct people leadership experience, including a demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed teams and manage managers.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, reimbursement processes, and patient access challenges within the assigned region.
Show proven capabilities in change leadership, cross-functional influencing, coaching, and leveraging data/technology to improve patient outcomes.
Preferred
Master’s degree or MBA in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or a related discipline.
Proven track record leading large-scale contact center operations, patient navigation hubs, or field-based patient support teams in specialty therapeutic areas.
Deep familiarity with regional payer policies, specialty pharmacy workflows, and account-based customer engagement models.

This role is based in Full-Time Remote, within a 100-mile radius from Orlando, FL

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Orlando, FL is $179,860 - $334,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
