Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Product Marketing to join our team and accelerate the product marketing strategy for our subscription research services. This role will involve developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation to drive demand and support sales efforts. The Senior Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure the successful launch and growth of our research products.

The Senior Director of Product Marketing will specifically be responsible for programs and content for the Law and Advisory segments and the Covenants Analysis product. The primary focus will be to understand the needs of the Law and Advisory firms relative to the use of credit market intelligence and tailor communications to them. The ideal candidate will have product marketing experience relative to selling subscription news and intelligence services to Law and Advisory firms. Credit market experience and understanding of the role of Law and Advisory firms in the credit lifecycle is a plus. We are open to considering credit market professionals who understand the needs of these audiences as it relates to the credit markets and are seeking to apply their experience in a product marketing role.

Key responsibilities will be to develop and execute content programs for the Law and Advisory segments. This content will include sales assets for solutions tailored to these audiences, thought leadership that positions Reorg as a preferred partner, and materials and messaging that support the spectrum of marketing tactics to drive renewals, cross-sell opportunities, and new business. Additional responsibilities include marketing for the Covenants Analysis product. As such, the senior director will work closely with product owners on launches, curate a sales kit, and coordinate with growth marketing on content for demand generation programs.

The role reports directly to the VP of Product Marketing with key stakeholders being the commercial segment leaders and product strategy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand, and revenue for our subscription research services.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
    • Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our research products.
  2. Go-to-Market Execution:
    • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with Product Management to develop and refine product positioning and messaging.
    • Create and manage go-to-market plans, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
  3. Sales Enablement:
    • Develop and deliver sales tools and training materials to support the sales team, including product presentations, battle cards, and objection handling guides.
    • Work with Sales to identify and address key customer pain points and opportunities.
    • Support the development of customer case studies, testimonials, and success stories.
  4. Content Creation:
    • Oversee the creation of compelling content, including whitepapers, webinars, blog posts, and infographics, to drive engagement and lead generation.
    • Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels.
    • Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to create targeted campaigns that drive subscription growth.
  5. Performance Measurement:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
    • Analyze campaign performance and customer feedback to continuously improve strategies and tactics.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on marketing performance and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Preferred candidate will have 10+ years of product marketing experience with specific experience marketing subscription services to law and advisory firms; experience and knowledge of credit markets is a plus; open to considering credit market professionals who understand law and advisory firm workflows and are looking to apply their experience in a product marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.


At Reorg, we consider a range of factors in connection with compensation decisions, including experience, skills, location, and our business needs and limitations. As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the salary range information below is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed below may reflect that breadth.

The salary range estimate for this position is $175,000 - $190,000 plus an annual discretionary bonus. 

The actual compensation will be at Reorg’s sole discretion and will be determined by the aforementioned and other relevant factors.
