The Target Pay Range for this position is $210,000-263,000 annually. At SDx/Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
Job Purpose/Overview
The Sr Director, P&O Operations is a strategic business partner to members of the Global Operations Team based in NA, responsible for shaping and driving the People & Organization agenda across Operations in North America. This role enables business growth and organizational effectiveness while ensuring strong associate experience. The role leads Organization Design work and support Operations Leaders in driving transformations. The role supports the definition of the deployment plan and leads the deployment of Mars signature P&O processes. This role is part of the NA and Global Ops P&O Leadership Team and is the key delegate of the NA and Global Ops P&O VP.
Scope: ~1,900 Operations Associates and ~60 labs/sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Hire, train, develop, manage performance, provide leadership, and ensure success of the P&O team.
Coach and Support Operations Leaders within scope, being the Business Partners for members of the Operations Leadership Team.
Contribute to the definition and execution of the People Strategy for SDx.
Lead organizational design, deployment and change management.
Leverage data to propose adequate strategies and action plans (Staffing rates, stay interview insights, Exit Interview Surveys, Turnover, etc.)
Support the design by partnering with P&O CoEs and lead the deployment of signature processes (PDP, MAS, Culture…)
Lead the Talent/Succession Planning agenda for Operations
Support key Associates Relations issues and complex investigations
Drive a strong collaboration and partnership with AR and Legal teams, to build capabilities across P&O and Operations Leaders.
Lead projects/initiatives for the entire SDx P&O organization as required
Champion our SDx Culture and Mars Five Principles
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree; master’s or other advanced degree preferred
10+ years’ experience working in Human Resources and/or in multi-Unit Operations were closely partnering with HR was required.
7+ years leadership experience to include recruiting, developing and engaging a team.
Experience leading a disperse geographic team preferred.
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
Relevant industry experiences a plus
Travel
Percent of time: 25-30%
