Join us in bringing joy to customer experience.  Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software, bringing the power of cloud innovation to customers worldwide.

Living our values everyday results in our team-first culture and enables us to innovate, grow, and thrive while enjoying the journey together. We celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment, empowering our employees to be their authentic selves.

We are looking for a Senior Director of Partner Marketing to lead Five9’s global partner marketing team and serve as the marketing counterpart to the Partner organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Marketing, this leader will design and run the marketing motion behind Partner Fusion — Five9’s program spanning the Channel (system integrators and resellers), Technology Partners (ISVs), and Strategic Partners (global technology and cloud platforms).

This role owns the full arc of partner marketing: marketing to partners to recruit and enable them, through partners to create demand in their installed base and territories, and with partners to bring joint solutions to market at scale. The global partner marketing team is one of four pillars of Revenue Marketing — alongside the regional Demand Generation teams (Americas and International, which run direct and ABM campaigns through vertical-aligned managers), the Sales Development team (which works the inbound demand those campaigns create and runs outbound outreach to ABM accounts), and the Events team (industry, partner, and Five9 events). Revenue Marketing is Five9’s primary pipeline engine, and within it this team owns the pipeline that comes through the partner channel, in partnership with the Partner organization. Partner marketing is never a silo: it is woven into the same audience strategy, the same campaign calendar, and the same pipeline goals as the rest of the demand engine.

The right candidate is a builder and an operator who has partnered extensively with channel, alliance, and field teams, and who is equally comfortable shaping a hyperscaler co-marketing plan and a regional reseller’s quarterly demand calendar. They will partner with the SVP, Global Partners & Alliances and the organizations they lead to set joint priorities, and with the regional Demand Generation teams, the Events team, and Product Marketing to make the ecosystem’s contribution show up in pipeline and ARR.

Partner Fusion is still taking shape, and this leader will help define what it becomes — the segmentation of partner types, the marketing playbook for each, the co-investment model, and the shared measurement that proves the ecosystem is creating incremental growth rather than reallocating it.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Fusion Program Strategy
  • Own the marketing strategy for Partner Fusion — a single, coherent framework that spans the Channel, Technology Partners, and Strategic Partners, with a clear marketing playbook for each partner type.
  • Help refine and evolve the program itself — partner segmentation and tiering, the co-investment model, and the joint planning rhythm with the Partner organization.
  • Help shape the next generation of the channel partner compensation and incentive model — partnering with the SVP, Global Partners & Alliances and Finance to ensure the economics reward the partner behaviors that drive profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Define the to-partner, through-partner, and with-partner motions and decide which partners and segments warrant which level of investment.
  • Build the annual and quarterly partner marketing plan in lockstep with the Partner organization’s priorities, the broader Revenue Marketing calendar, and the company’s pipeline targets.
Channel Marketing — System Integrators & Resellers
  • Drive demand creation through SIs and resellers — co-branded campaigns, partner-led events, and territory-level programs that generate sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • Build the marketing enablement partners need to sell Five9 — messaging, sales tools, campaign-in-a-box assets, and self-serve resources that scale across a broad channel.
  • Partner on recruitment and activation marketing that brings the right new resellers and integrators into the program and gets them productive faster.
  • Tailor the motion by partner tier — high-touch joint planning for the largest SIs, scalable programs for the long tail.
Technology Partner (ISV) Co-Marketing
  • Bring joint solutions to market with ISVs — integration launches, joint value propositions, and co-marketing campaigns that show customers what is better together.
  • Build the marketing presence for marketplace and integration listings and the demand programs that drive customers toward them.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate technical integrations into customer-facing stories that land with buyers, not just builders.
  • Prioritize the ISV portfolio for marketing investment based on solution fit, pipeline potential, and strategic importance to Five9’s platform story.
Strategic Partner Marketing
  • Lead co-marketing with large strategic partners and global technology platforms — joint go-to-market plans, flagship moments, and executive-level marketing initiatives that match the scale of the relationship.
  • Stand up the joint go-to-market planning function for new strategic alliances — beginning with the company’s highest-priority alliances — defining the joint value proposition, the co-marketing plan, and the operating rhythm that turn a new relationship into a repeatable program.
  • Orchestrate joint demand programs and account-based plays that combine Five9’s and the partner’s field, audiences, and reach.
  • Represent Five9 in joint marketing planning with the partner’s marketing and alliance teams, and hold both sides accountable to committed activities and outcomes.
  • Build the executive narrative and proof points that keep strategic alliances visible internally and credible in the market.
Demand Generation & Events Alignment
  • Integrate partner marketing into the broader demand engine — align global partner programs with the regional Demand Generation teams (Americas and International) so the ecosystem amplifies their direct and ABM campaigns rather than competing with them.
  • Coordinate with the regional Demand Generation leaders and their vertical-aligned managers — bringing partner plays into ABM and direct campaigns where a partner relationship can open or accelerate accounts in a given region and vertical.
  • Partner with the Events team on partner events — and bring partners into industry and Five9 events where they add reach or credibility.
  • Connect partner-sourced and partner-influenced demand into the same funnel Five9 uses for direct demand, with consistent definitions, routing, and follow-up across regions.
Investment, Measurement & Team Leadership
  • Govern MDF and co-marketing investment — allocate funds against the highest-return programs and hold the ecosystem accountable for the activity and outcomes that funding buys.
  • Define and report partner marketing performance — sourced and influenced pipeline, ARR contribution, program ROI, and the leading indicators that show whether the motion is working.
  • Establish clear, defensible attribution standards for partner pipeline — distinguishing partner-sourced from partner-influenced with consistent definitions and governance across the full lead lifecycle, in partnership with Revenue Operations and the Partner organization, so the business trusts the partner numbers.
  • Establish the operating rhythm with the Partner organization — joint planning, regular business reviews, and a shared view of what is and is not creating incremental value.
  • Build, develop, and lead the global partner marketing team — and the cross-functional relationships the role depends on across the regional Demand Generation teams, the Events team, Product Marketing, and the Partner organization.
Candidate Requirements and Experience
  • 12+ years of marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, with significant time leading partner, channel, or alliance marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience across more than one partner type — channel (SIs and resellers), technology partners (ISVs), and strategic alliances or hyperscalers. Breadth across all three is highly recommended.
  • Proven track record building and running co-marketing programs that produced measurable sourced and influenced pipeline, not just activity.
  • Hands-on experience with to-partner, through-partner, and with-partner motions, including partner enablement and demand creation through a channel.
  • Experience governing MDF and co-investment, and the discipline to tie partner spend to outcomes.
  • Working familiarity with demand generation and ABM, and a track record of integrating partner programs into a broader, multi-region demand motion rather than running them in isolation.
  • Comfort with the modern marketing stack — CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo or similar), and the reporting needed to measure partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern AI tools and a clear point of view on their application to partner and demand marketing — including practical experience using AI to accelerate content production, campaign development, and program scale across a large partner base.
  • Experience working directly with senior partner, alliance, and field leaders, and the credibility to represent Five9 in joint planning with a strategic partner’s marketing organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
