THE POSITION

As a Senior Director of Operational Excellence here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence initiatives at Honeywell Aerospace for the Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Organization. By developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness, identifying and eliminating barriers to execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Senior Director of Operational Excellence contributes to the overall success of the organization.


You will report directly to our Vice President of ISC Global Operations and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.


In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's processes. This will result in streamlined operations, reduced costs, increased productivity, and enhanced customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Lead and drive operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and eliminate barriers to execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Lead the operating system that provides guidance and support to site leaders to ensure operational excellence and execution of site delivery.

Qualifications

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to US export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, perm resident, protected status under asylum/refugee, OR can obtain export approval.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational excellence or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
  • Experience leading presentations and continuous improvement initiatives 
  • Ability to develop extension communications operating systems
