The Head of Investor Relations reports to the Chief Financial Officer. This role is responsible for creating a strategic, proactive, and responsive investor relations function by developing and executing WWW global investor relations strategy.

Primary Duties

  • Serves as a key advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors on investor relations strategy.

  • Develops and maintains an investor relations program focused on creating consistent, value-driving engagement and messages for the investment community.

  • Establishes an investor outreach program and calendar focused on a target, optimal shareholder base.

  • Represents the Company and develops strong relationships with institutional investors, individual investors, and sell-side analysts. 

  • Works closely with the FP&A, Strategy and Brand teams to ensure annual and quarterly guidance and messages are aligned with Company strategy and initiatives.

  • Effectively communicates complex financial information to broad audiences.

  • Creates presentations, scripts, press releases, and other communication materials for quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and for other engagements as needed.

  • Works closely with the Controller, and Legal teams to prepare annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements.

  • Ensures all investor communications and disclosures comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Organizes and participates in quarterly earnings calls, Company hosted investor meetings, one-on-one analyst and investor visits, investor conferences and analyst seminars.

  • Provides investment community feedback to management and proactively updates Company outreach strategy and messages as appropriate.

  • Monitors stock price, research reports and news releases on the company and the industry and provides analytical summaries for leadership and the Board of Directors.

  • Performs ongoing and comprehensive competitive analysis, including monitoring financial metrics and a summary of key messages.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Finance degree with strong financial acumen; MBA a plus

  • 10+ years professional experience

  • Proactive leader, with a passion for driving impact based on insightful and thoughtful analytics and research

  • Strong analytical skills with deep experience in financial modeling and valuation methods

  • Excellent communication skills, including strong writing skills and experience building creative, engaging business and financial data-based presentations for broad audiences

  • Ability to build solid relationships within and outside the Company

  • Footwear industry knowledge a plus

Working Conditions

Typical office environment. Some travel required.
