Job Description

Position Summary


The Senior Director, Integrated Insights (US) reports to the Executive Director of Commercial Insights, Analytics & Operations (CIAO) organization, and will lead the US Integrated Insights team and serve as the primary strategic partner to US Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Leadership teams. The Senior Director will lead a team responsible for brand insights, market access insights, launch readiness insights, forecasting for brands, key business planning processes, and integrated performance reporting across the US portfolio. The role will also serve as a key member of the CIAO leadership team and will influence strategic decision making across the organization. 

  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 


Strategic Insights Leadership 

  • Lead the US Integrated Insights function across brand, portfolio, and market access stakeholders. 
  • Drive development of integrated market narratives that synthesize market research, analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and organizational insights. 
  • Serve as the primary insights business partner for US Marketing and Market Access leadership. 
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment around key business questions, strategic priorities, and commercial implications. 
  • Lead insights planning processes to proactively identify emerging opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations. 

Commercial Insights & Analytics 

  • Oversee design and execution of market research and insights programs across the US portfolio. 
  • Lead cross-functional insights and analytics pods to address critical business questions and support decision making. 
  • Guide development of integrated performance reporting, opportunity assessments, and market landscape analyses. 
  • Partner closely with Advanced Analytics, Sales Analytics & Operations (SAO), Commercial Operations, and other CIAO functions to deliver a coordinated insights strategy. 

Forecasting Leadership 

  • Own US brand forecasting processes across inline and launch products. 
  • Ensure delivery of accurate, data-driven forecasts that support financial planning and portfolio decision making. 
  • Lead alignment across Marketing, Finance, Market Access, and Commercial Leadership on key forecast assumptions and risks. 
  • Support business planning activities including Long Range Planning (LRP), Latest Estimates (LE), Annual Operating Planning (AOP), and launch planning. 

Market Access Insights 

  • Lead the team responsible for payer, provider, account, and market access insights. 
  • Drive generation of market access analytics, stakeholder insights, and performance reporting that support access strategy and execution. 
  • Partner with Market Access leadership to establish KPIs, monitor performance, and identify opportunities to optimize access and patient impact. 

Business Planning & Performance Management 

  • Lead development of commercial KPIs and performance measurement frameworks. 
  • Support key business review processes including MBRs, QBRs, marketplace reviews, and executive reporting. 
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. 

Team & Organizational Leadership 

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of insights, forecasting, and market access professionals. 
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Establish scalable capabilities, processes, and operating models that enhance organizational effectiveness and insight generation. 
  • Serve as a senior leader within CIAO and contribute to broader organizational priorities and capability development. 


Basic Requirements: 


Doctorate and 8+ years of relvant experience  

OR 

Master’s and 10+ years of relevant experience 

OR 

Bachelor’s and 12+ years of relevant experience 



Preferred Qualifications: 


  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) and significant relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree and substantial relevant industry experience. 
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, consulting, or related industries. 
  • Significant experience leading commercial insights, analytics, forecasting, market research, or market access functions. 
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Experience supporting oncology, hematology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or cell therapy businesses. 
  • Deep knowledge of commercial strategy, forecasting methodologies, market research, and healthcare analytics. 
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams. 
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead through complex matrix organizations. 
  • Proven record of transforming data into strategic business recommendations and organizational action.

  • The successful candidate will be recognized as a trusted strategic advisor who combines analytical rigor, business acumen, and collaborative leadership. They will be responsible for ensuring that Kite's US commercial organization has a cohesive view of market dynamics, performance drivers, and future opportunities, enabling informed decisions that drive growth and improve patient outcomes. 


 

The salary range for this position is: $205,615.00 - $266,090.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
