Based in Beaverton, OR, as the Senior Director, Global Athlete Business SGA, you will lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s global business. This role sits at the center of the offense, driving a holistic, integrated approach that connects performance, cultural relevance, and lifestyle expression into a distinctive and scalable athlete business.

What will you work on?
You will lead an integrated offense across Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s global athlete business. You will guide cross-functional teams to create and execute a cohesive strategy that drives brand energy and sustainable growth.
In this role, you will:
- Define and drive a clear global vision and strategy for SGA’s business on and off the court
- Align cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Sports Marketing, and Marketplace to deliver integrated plans
- Translate athlete insights and consumer understanding into compelling product and storytelling strategies
- Align global, geo, and city teams on priorities, concepts, and seasonal plans
- Establish and track clear seasonal and long-term business objectives
- Identify consumer-led opportunities that scale into meaningful growth drivers
- Drive a consistent operating cadence, including business reviews, team meetings, and planning cycles
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to represent the athlete and brand with authenticity and integrity
Who will you work with?
This role partners closely with global and geo teams across the Nike organization. Collaboration spans Product, Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Sports Marketing, and Marketplace to ensure alignment and execution of the SGA business strategy. The role also engages external partners and serves as a key connection point between the athlete, the business, and the brand.

- Bachelor's degree in general management, strategy planning, business operations or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 7 years in a leadership/management role
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver against a shared vision
- Strong understanding of basketball, culture, and consumer behavior
- Ability to translate insights into strategies that drive brand and business impact
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Experience managing budgets and driving accountability
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without authority
