Position Overview:
Bose Professional is a global leader in innovative audio solutions, serving a diverse range of customers across enterprise, performance, and installed-sound markets. As we enter a new era of growth and transformation, we are seeking a strategic finance leader who will elevate our financial planning, analysis, and operational decision-making to drive long-term success.
The Senior Director of FP&A will be the key architect of Bose Professional’s financial planning and analytics function, delivering insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. This executive will own end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, long-range forecasting, and performance measurement, serving as the analytical engine for the CEO, CFO and COO, and the broader executive team. In addition, this role will oversee short-term liquidity planning, including 13-week cash flow forecasting, and ensure compliance with lender reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting
    • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and multi-year strategic plans aligned with corporate goals.
    • Build robust financial models to evaluate growth opportunities, investments, and operational initiatives.
  • Executive Decision Support
    • Provide forward-looking analysis, scenario modeling, and business insights to the CEO, CFO and COO, and other senior leaders.
    • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Operational FP&A
    • Partner with functional leaders to monitor KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure financial accountability.
    • Implement and continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to scale with business growth.
  • Cash Flow Management
    • Oversee preparation and maintenance of the company’s 13-week cash flow forecast, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational plans.
    • Provide proactive recommendations to optimize liquidity and working capital.
  • Lender Reporting & Compliance
    • Lead all lender-related financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly covenant calculations, compliance certificates, and management discussions.
    • Ensure adherence to all debt agreement terms and deadlines and serve as the primary liaison with lenders on financial matters.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing FP&A team that partners effectively across the organization.
  • Support Company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior FP&A leadership roles.
  • Proven success in high-growth, transformation, or private equity-backed environments.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and operational analytics.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and lender compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the executive and board level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CFA preferred.
