The Role

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Our Senior Director, Design Visioneering, Global Jordan will report into the VP and Chief Design Officer, Jordan Brand. You will work in partnerships with a dynamic team of cross-functional experts across Jordan Design, Operations, Product, and Innovation. Your network will extend to NXT, NSRL, and other internal and external stakeholders, forming a powerful coalition to drive innovation forward.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek a Senior Director who will envision, activate, and align the future of Jordan Brand innovation, translating creative vision into operational reality. This leader will partner with the CDO/CDI and cross-functional teams to propel the brand forward through breakthrough innovation, codified processes, and aligned execution — shaping the next era of Jordan.

Our Visioneer will:

  • Define the Future – Craft a bold innovation vision and multi-year roadmap that aligns brand strategy, design, and technology.
  • Activate Innovation – Build scalable systems and processes to turn vision into repeatable, measurable execution.
  • Unite the Team – Drive leadership alignment, foster collaboration, and codify a shared language of innovation across Jordan, NXT, NSRL, and partners.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Design, Business Administration or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 10+ years of experience in creative strategy, human-centered research, innovation or a design-related field, and identification of future areas of opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

We will empower you to propel Jordan Brand into the future through industry defining innovations to unlock limitless human potential.

You will do this by:

  • Building a game plan with the CDO/CDI and cross-functional teams to deliver industry-defining innovations
  • Road mapping & project managing immediate innovation moments (i.e All-Star Weekend, Olympics, etc)
  • Creating and aligning the Innovation Design Plan across functions
  • Accelerating integration of Jordan Innovation into seasonal readiness through strong partnerships with Jordan Operations
  • Developing processes and relationships for Jordan x NXT/NSRL and inline innovation—addressing today’s needs and anticipating future brand requirements
  • Driving short- and long-term leadership alignment on innovation strategy, definition, and approach
  • Defining success metrics and process accountability to external & internal partners (handoffs, deadlines, feedback, reviews) to bring Jordan innovation to life
