Job Details

The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for leading enterprise growth initiatives and driving strategic revenue expansion through the identification, development, and execution of new business opportunities across AnewHealth's pharmacy services, clinical programs, and technology solutions. As a senior individual contributor and enterprise growth leader, this role serves as a key market strategist, cultivating C-suite relationships, influencing executive decision-makers, and leading high-value, complex commercial pursuits across targeted healthcare markets.

The Senior Director will develop and execute comprehensive market growth strategies, identify emerging industry trends and partnership opportunities, and position AnewHealth as a trusted, innovative partner to health plans, health systems, PACE organizations, provider groups, accountable care organizations, and other healthcare stakeholders. This leader will leverage deep industry expertise and market intelligence to shape go-to-market priorities, expand market presence, and accelerate sustainable revenue growth.

Working closely with leadership and cross-functional partners, the Senior Director will align business development efforts with organizational strategy, guide strategic partnership initiatives, and drive market penetration across priority segments. This individual will play a critical role in increasing market share, influencing long-term business direction, and achieving enterprise growth objectives while strengthening AnewHealth's reputation as a leader in healthcare innovation and value-based care solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and new client acquisition.

  • Identify and cultivate high-value opportunities across targeted healthcare markets, including PACE, managed care, health systems, provider organizations, and value-based care entities.

  • Develop strategic account plans and market penetration strategies that accelerate growth within assigned territories and target segments.

  • Serve as a market expert, providing insights on industry trends, competitive activity, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities.

Executive Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level decision makers, including C-suite leaders, board members, and key influencers.

  • Establish AnewHealth as a strategic partner through consultative engagement and thought leadership.

  • Lead complex negotiations and contract discussions with prospective clients and partners.

  • Represent AnewHealth at industry conferences, trade shows, professional associations, and executive networking events.

Leadership & Revenue Generation

  • Own and achieve annual revenue, pipeline, and market growth goals.

  • Lead enterprise sales opportunities from initial prospecting through contract execution and implementation handoff.

  • Manage a robust and accurate sales pipeline within Salesforce.

  • Consistently advance opportunities through the sales cycle while maintaining strong forecast accuracy.

  • Monitor and report performance metrics including pipeline growth, conversion rates, sales velocity, and revenue attainment.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with marketing, operations, implementation, clinical, product, and executive teams to develop client-centric solutions and value propositions.

  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and sales enablement efforts.

  • Provide strategic guidance during implementation planning to ensure successful transition from sales to operations.

  • Serve as the voice of the market, bringing customer feedback and market intelligence back to internal stakeholders.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Development

  • Analyze competitive offerings, reimbursement trends, healthcare policy changes, and market dynamics to support growth strategies.

  • Identify strategic partnerships and alliance opportunities that expand AnewHealth's market presence.

  • Recommend new service offerings, solutions, and go-to-market approaches based on client and market needs.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field required.

 

Experience

Required

  • 8+ years of healthcare business development, strategic sales, or consulting experience.

  • Demonstrated success selling complex healthcare solutions to executive stakeholders.

  • Proven history of achieving and exceeding revenue growth targets.

  • Experience leading long-cycle, enterprise-level healthcare sales opportunities.

Preferred

  • Experience in pharmacy services, PACE, managed care, value-based care, healthcare technology, or healthcare services.

  • Experience selling to health plans, health systems, provider organizations, or government-sponsored healthcare programs.

Skills & Abilities

  • Executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence C-suite and senior healthcare leaders.

  • Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities.

  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems, reimbursement models, and regulatory environments.

Physical/Mental Demands: This position is administrative in nature and will present physical demands requisite to a position requiring: hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

 

Schedule:  This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

Travel:  Travel may be required for special organization or department events, department team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other client engagements.
