Senior Digital IC Design Engineer
Description:
As a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team developing cutting-edge Optical Control ICs for AI datacenters.
In this role, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of digital IC development, including micro-architecture definition, block- and chip-level design and implementation, and verification, working closely with cross-disciplinary analog, mixed-signal, and system teams.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of mixed-signal IC products.
- Perform block-level and chip-level RTL design and implementation.
- Design digital signal processing blocks based on algorithms, and translate system/algorithm requirements into robust digital implementations.
- Define digital architectures in accordance with detailed product specifications.
- Participate in block-level and chip-level verification activities.
- Contribute to block- and system-level digital/mixed-signal testbench development.
Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital design for complex SoC designs (senior-level expectations).
- Solid knowledge of digital logic design and implementation.
- Familiarity with digital verification methodologies and tools.
- Experience or awareness of AI-assisted tools to improve design productivity is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, or C Shell is a plus.
- Exposure to mixed-signal design and verification is a plus.
- Strong self-motivation, result-oriented mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
