What you will do...
- Own the CI/CD architecture across a product line, from source control strategy through production deployment.
- Build security, quality and compliance gates into the pipeline so they run automatically rather than as a review step.
- Set infrastructure-as-code standards and review changes against them.
- Drive down build and deploy times, and remove the manual steps teams work around.
- Mentor engineers on pipeline ownership and raise the delivery bar across teams.
Minimum qualifications...
- Master's degree and 18+ years of software delivery, platform or DevSecOps engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of CI/CD architecture for a system or product line.
- Hands-on infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent) in production.
- Container orchestration experience with Kubernetes in a regulated environment.
- Experience embedding automated security scanning into a pipeline that gates releases.
- Hardening to STIG baselines and supporting security accreditation, including planning builds around accreditation timelines, scanning evidence and remediation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation (Public Trust).
Preferred qualifications...
- Experience on federal health IT programs.
- Cloud experience in government regions (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture principles in a federal environment.
- Supply chain, logistics or asset management systems experience.
- AWS, Azure or CNCF certification.
- Experience in SAFe at scale, including Program Increment planning.
- Familiarity with federal IT governance and approved-tooling processes.
