About the Job

 We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This is not a task-execution role—we need a proactive leader who independently identifies problems, proposes solutions, and drives improvements across our multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). You will manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE), establish robust monitoring and alerting pipelines, optimize cloud costs, manage software releases, and oversee on-premises customer deployments across multiple active installations. You will also architect the infrastructure for our upcoming LLM-based intelligence platform, bringing MLOps and LLMOps best practices to the team. This role has the potential to evolve into a team lead position as the infrastructure organization grows. 

This is a hybrid position with 3 office days per week at our office in Hacettepe Teknokent.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively managing and optimizing multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE) across staging and production environments,
• Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Helm, Argo CD, Azure DevOps, and GitOps practices,
• Collaborating with development teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize applications,
• Analyzing cloud infrastructure costs, identifying bottlenecks, and driving cost optimization by eliminating unnecessary services and right-sizing resources,
• Establishing and maintaining a robust monitoring and alerting pipeline using DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure proactive incident detection and notification,
• Communicating with customers’ IT departments for self-hosted and on-site deployments, managing Helm-based installations across multiple customer environments,
• Managing cloud services including managed databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Redis, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Azure IoT, and cloud storage,
• Ensuring security best practices across all DevOps infrastructure, including vulnerability monitoring and remediation,
• Managing software releases, deployments, and release pipelines across Azure DevOps and Argo CD,
• Architecting the infrastructure for the upcoming LLM-based intelligence platform, establishing MLOps/LLMOps pipelines and model versioning practices,
• Leveraging AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, etc.) to maximize productivity and engineering efficiency,
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of DevOps best practices and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field,
• At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a track record of independently managing infrastructure,
• Excellent command of verbal and written English,
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP),
• Experience with Docker, Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps practices,
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, particularly Azure DevOps release pipelines,
• Experience with security best practices for DevOps tasks,
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana,
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps concepts, model versioning, and AI platform infrastructure (experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or similar is a plus),
• Proficiency in using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify bottlenecks and optimize systems proactively,
• Self-driven leadership mindset with the ability to own infrastructure strategy without requiring day-to-day direction,
• CNCF certifications and cloud vendor certifications are a plus.
