Job DescriptionPurpose
Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities. Provides prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
• Manage and troubleshoot daily cloud backend operations for large-scale environments.
• Perform hardware-oriented tasks via console and command line.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and QA tools for database services.
• Automate operational processes using modern frameworks and pipelines.
• Perform lifecycle management activities: upgrades, patches, and maintenance at the PaaS/platform level.
• Investigate, resolve, and deliver fixes for bugs and incidents in line with defined processes.
• Drive feature deployments and contribute to problem-solving to improve customer experience.
• Collaborate within agile teams and contribute to open communication and knowledge sharing.
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
• Degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific field, or equivalent professional training.
• 5–7 years of professional IT experience with a focus on modern cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Database Solutions (both Relational and NoSQL).
• Good understanding of infrastructure, networking, hardware, storage, and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS models.
• Extensive experience with Linux systems and network-related services.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in:
o Incident and bug management,
o Operational platform tasks (patches, upgrades, LCM),
o Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.),
o Automation and monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Scope, CodeArts Light, Grafana).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
• Basic proficiency in Windows, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and office/text tools (e.g. Notepad++).
• Knowledge of agile development processes and CI/CD pipeline usage.
• OpenStack or open-source programming experience is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Eligible to work within the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements.

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2600€ /brutto.
