We're seeking a proactive Senior DevOps Engineer to deploy and manage our critical systems while contributing to backend development. **This position is for one of Cie's startup partners. This is a full-time opportunity within the startup organization, not Cie.**
How you’ll make an impact:
Wear the hat of a hybrid DevOps and backend engineer, specializing in C#
Collaborate in a small tech team to construct and oversee robust, secure infrastructure for diverse application platforms
Work closely with the development team to not just maintain, but also build and improve the underlying systems to be highly available, scalable and performant
Scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand and improve automated deployments, monitoring, management and incident response
Monitor site database stability/performance and troubleshoot issues
Create and execute load and performance tests
Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance
Eager to improve by constantly researching new technologies and services
Nimble, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
What you'll bring to the table:
Experience working in our tech stack – AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, ECS Fargate, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Terraform, C#
Any prior experience in PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch is a plus
Strong experience in Linux and containers
Extensive knowledge of automated builds and deployments with a large number of pipelines
Strong knowledge and understanding of SaaS network architecture, security, and troubleshooting techniques
Experience creating and maintaining backup strategies as well as managing PCI-compliant production environments
Release automation, system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience
Experience implementing and maintaining/monitoring alert systems with an SLA-guaranteed up-time
