Job DescriptionWe’re hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team and play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our on‑premise technology landscape. This is a permanent opportunity for a hands-on expert who thrives in building and evolving secure, high-performance environments outside of the cloud-first norm.
In this role, you’ll lead the design, implementation, and continuous optimisation of our DevOps frameworks across a complex on-premise estate. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive infrastructure-as-code initiatives, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and champion best practices in automation, security, and reliability.
We’re seeking someone with proven experience delivering secure, scalable, and fully automated environments, with deep expertise across the HashiCorp ecosystem (Vault, Terraform), configuration management (Ansible), CI/CD tooling (Jenkins), and enterprise Linux environments (RHEL), alongside strong Bash scripting capabilities.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement DevOps frameworks for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
- Configure and manage HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and secure credential handling.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating automated testing and deployment.
- Automate system configuration and provisioning using Ansible and custom Bash scripts.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement robust access control mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps best practices across the organization.
