Senior DevOps Engineer (Microsoft Azure)

We are looking for passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

A Day in the Life of a Senior DevOps Engineer will include

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services to support scalable and reliable software deployment.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines of Azure services related to AI and data-driven projects (e.g., machine learning model deployment, data pipeline development, etc.).
• Collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Oversee the performance, monitoring, and security of Azure-based services, including Azure Databricks, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Machine Learning, and other project-related services.
• Ensure efficient use of cloud resources and continuously optimize system performance.
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring alignment with project timelines and operational goals.
• Implement best practices for source control, branching, and deployment strategies.
• Participating in technical design reviews and providing expert guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and practices, including managing identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
• Collaborate with teams to implement automated testing and deployment of AI models and services
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, networking, databases, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Event Hubs.
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure Bicep for automating infrastructure deployment.
• Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git, for managing and tracking code changes.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Azure Monitor and Application Gateway for cloud performance management.
• Understanding security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Policy, and managing secrets with tools like Azure Key Vault.
• Knowledge of other containerization technologies (e.g Docker) and containers orchestration platforms is an asset.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and deployment of machine learning models.
• Knowledge of security standards (e.g ISO 27001, NIST CSF) is an asset
• Strong scripting and programming skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams, with strong communication skills to drive DevOps culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and willingness to work in an international/multicultural environment.
• Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal).

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
