Pragmatike is hiring on behalf of a global digital services company operating high-traffic platforms used by millions of users worldwide. The product ecosystem includes large-scale transactional systems, digital content delivery, and payment-related services that must remain highly available, secure, and scalable.
As the platform continues to grow across regions and partners, the company is strengthening its cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes backbone.
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, operate, and scale production infrastructure, with a strong focus on Kubernetes environments running at scale. You will play a key role in ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security across multiple services and markets.
What You’ll DoDesign, deploy, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters running mission-critical services
Build and maintain scalable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Own deployment strategies, environment configuration, and runtime operations for microservices
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable releases
Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for high-availability systems
Ensure infrastructure security, access control, and secrets management best practices
Optimize infrastructure for reliability, performance, scalability, and cost
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
Collaborate closely with backend, platform, and product teams
Contribute to DevOps standards, automation, and operational documentation
5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
Strong experience with Docker and containerized workloads
Solid knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar)
Experience operating production systems with on-call responsibility
Comfortable working in distributed, high-availability environments
Experience with high-traffic or transactional platforms
Background in digital services, payments, or telecom-related systems
Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Helm, etc.)
Exposure to service meshes or advanced Kubernetes networking
Experience in fast-growing or international environments
Work on large-scale, user-facing platforms used globally
Own and evolve a Kubernetes-centric infrastructure at scale
High impact on system reliability, performance, and security
Strong engineering culture with real ownership
