What You'll Do- Lead multiple affordable housing developments from site acquisition through financing, construction, and stabilization.
- Structure complex financing packages utilizing LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, HOME, HTF, AHP, HUD, USDA RD, VHDA, DHCD, and other funding sources.
- Prepare financial models, development budgets, and project feasibility analyses.
- Negotiate with lenders, investors, government agencies, consultants, and development partners.
- Manage project schedules, funding applications, closings, compliance, budgets, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships that generate new development opportunities.
- Mentor development staff and provide technical leadership on complex transactions.
- 8+ years of affordable housing or real estate development experience.
- Expertise in affordable housing finance, underwriting, and complex deal structuring.
- Proven success managing multiple development projects simultaneously.
- Strong financial analysis, negotiation, project management, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
