What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple affordable housing developments from site acquisition through financing, construction, and stabilization.
  • Structure complex financing packages utilizing LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, HOME, HTF, AHP, HUD, USDA RD, VHDA, DHCD, and other funding sources.
  • Prepare financial models, development budgets, and project feasibility analyses.
  • Negotiate with lenders, investors, government agencies, consultants, and development partners.
  • Manage project schedules, funding applications, closings, compliance, budgets, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships that generate new development opportunities.
  • Mentor development staff and provide technical leadership on complex transactions.
What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of affordable housing or real estate development experience.
  • Expertise in affordable housing finance, underwriting, and complex deal structuring.
  • Proven success managing multiple development projects simultaneously.
  • Strong financial analysis, negotiation, project management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
