Position Summary
The Senior Developer should have 5+ years professional experience. Sitecore 9.x or above Certified. He will be responsible to work independently and implement the end-to-end requirement on Sitecore Platform.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
- Write clean, testable code using Sitecore components
- Testing and debugging
- Review and refactor code
- Deploy fully functional applications
- Upgrade existing programs
- Support junior developers’ work
- Document development and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications - 4-year Computer Science degree.
- At least 6+ years of experience in Sitecore
- In depth knowledge on latest version of Sitecore preferably 9.X and 10.X.
- Knowledge in SXA and EXM will be an advantage
- Good to have experience in Sitecore Commerce.
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio, TFS and at least one of the .NET languages (VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET)
- Experience in coding, designing and testing new web software applications
- To identify and correct the software defects and to maintain the existing software systems
- In-depth understanding and implementation of web services (REST or SOAP)
- To create test plans and technical specifications
- Working experience with MVC frameworks and Software Patterns
- Experience with Microsoft Release Management Studio or other Continuous Integration Management tool (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
- Working experience with UI / front-end development using JavaScript, JQuery, HTML 4/5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with agile environments
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
