The Role

We are seeking a Senior Developer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our applications, from architecting new features to ensuring their long-term stability and performance. We need a developer who thrives on independence and is eager to take the lead on critical projects.

What You’ll Do

• Design and Build: Lead the development of new, scalable features for our core platforms.
• Maintain and Improve: Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Ensure Quality: Write comprehensive tests to ensure the quality and stability of our applications.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the rest of our small, dedicated team, contributing to an open and collaborative culture.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience building and maintaining highly scalable systems in a production environment.
• Deep knowledge of automated testing (e.g., RSpec, Minitest).
• Solid understanding of database design, performance optimization, and SQL.
• Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
