Senior Developer (Full Stack / Backend Focus)

Our white-label, AI-powered operating system (Delio Core OS) leverages configurable, low-code tools and modules to commoditise the technologies and workflows needed to deliver a market-leading digital client experience. Our solutions can be utilised end-to-end or embedded via API, covering the aggregation, structuring, distribution, administration and reporting of private assets.

We recruiting an experienced Senior Developer to help design, build and scale our next-generation applications. Working closely with a talented Cardiff-based team, you will contribute to backend architecture and services, and optionally to frontend projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend systems and APIs.
• Work with one or more of the following technologies:
  • Laravel (PHP)
  • Go (Golang)
  • Node.js
  • React (frontend)
• Collaborate closely with team members to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality, security, and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and guide technical improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior or lead developer.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Laravel, Go, or Node.js, with good React knowledge.
• Database design (SQL/NoSQL) and API development experience (REST/GraphQL).
• Understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (e.g. Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead projects.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Frontend architecture or UI/UX awareness.
• Knowledge of testing, performance optimisation and security best practices.
