Senior Developer (Freelance)

Salt XC is looking for a Senior Developer with expertise in React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and hands-on experience across backend tools, databases, and cloud platforms.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Developer, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge digital experiences by building efficient web applications with modern technologies. You will integrate RESTful APIs, develop modern and animated interfaces, and work with multiple databases and platforms to ensure data flows smoothly between systems. Your ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms will be crucial in delivering outstanding results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and maintain integrations between our ERP systems and customer-facing applications using React and Next.js

· Build and style modern interfaces with Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.

· Build and optimize e-commerce solutions using platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar

· Implement and manage headless CMS solutions including Strapi, Contentful, or Payload

· Create APIs and microservices to connect various systems in our technology stack

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, strategists, and backend developers, to build user-centric solutions.

· Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure best practices in SEO, security, and accessibility.

· Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, quickly adapting to new tools and platforms.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· 5+ years of experience in full stack development with a focus on business systems integration

· Proven experience implementing and customizing ERP integrations (JD Edward, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)

· Strong proficiency with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify (including Shopify Plus, APIs, and app development)

· Experience with headless CMS implementations, specifically with one or more of: Strapi, Contentful, or Payload

· Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL

· Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and relevant frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)

· Experience with Node.js for backend development

· Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)

· Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
